about

Hybridmagazine.com on The Pindrops: “The wacky lo-fi Beatles. Brilliant lyrics imbedded between cool quacking guitars and cooler harmonies.”

I fronted The Pindrops between 2003 and 2004. Several of the 11 songs on this eponymous album have appeared on my solo albums, with more to come. There are three renditions on here that I still stand by and plan to remix and re-release at some point: "What I Know," "Until I Find," and "Between the Lines."

"What I Know" also appears on my album REATTACHMENT with a very similar arrangement and with the same musicians (i.e., George on drums and me on everything else*), but I prefer the vibe of this one.

(*John Collins plays the bowed bass in the outro here. The outro doesn't appear on the REATTACHMENT version.)
